This easy TandemEZ Tandem e-bike tour meanders through Historic Downtown Salem, showcasing historic, intriguing, and visitor-friendly sites. We begin at the Gilbert House Children’s Museum, riding through the Grant Neighborhood to the Capitol Mall, the WWII memorial, Willamette University, and the State Capitol. We will visit the Willamette Heritage Center, home of Missionary Jason Lee, founder of Salem and Willamette University. We will also take in the Deepwood Estate and Bush House Gardens before a ride along Pringle Creek. Our journey continues with a three-block bike walk through downtown to view architecture and hear intriguing underground stories. We will then explore Riverfront Park and cross the unique Taco Bridge into Minto-Brown Park, one of our nation’s largest Urban parks. We will enjoy some refreshments at Minto Island Growers before returning to our starting point. Prices start at $300 per pair on our bicycle built for two, and the per-head price decreases as more join in! Any age over a height of 4’10 (147cm) is welcome. Each Captain must be 18 or older.
