Rent our TandemEZ and Ride around Crater Lake National Park!
Crater Lake Ride the Rim Event September 5, 2026!
Sep 5th is set aside just for cyclists, and we will be there with our Tandem E-bikes! Cyclists can enjoy the whole day without traffic, riding a 27-mile stretch from the East Rim entrance back to the Park HQ! We will have eight tandems available for the first eight pairs to rent each day.
The one-day rental fee is USD275 per Tandem/ $275 for two persons in total. Please reserve early, as we will only be providing eight tandems for a total of 16 persons. We will not provide any other services such as meals or drinks, Park Entrance, etc. Please park your car at the Park Headquarters and then get the free shuttle provided to the North Entrance Bike Corral. We will meet you at the Bike Corral at the North Entrance from 9-10 AM to get you set up and going! We will then collect the bikes from you at the end of the day, back at Park HQ. In compliance with the National Park Service Guidelines, you will be signing a Visitor Acknowledgement of Risk, which can be viewed here.

…or Ride the Rim anytime your group likes, July 15 through September 20
This tour can happen anytime you have a group of 10-16. This is great fun for families. Rider limitations are 6’4 max on the front, 4‘10 minimum on the back. Any age is welcome, but each front rider (captain) needs to be 18 or over.
Your group will enjoy the whole day, 5 hours max, 4-5 hours battery-assisted riding around the rim of Crater Lake National Park. The charge is the one-day Rental fee, USD275/tandem x 5 Tandem minimum or USD1375 total. Additional Tandems can be added for 275 each. (Our tandems can be ridden as singles too if you have only 9,11,13,15 in your party).
Medium:
- Start at Picnic Hill/Rim Village and ride to Cleetwood Cove and return. Around 22 miles round-trip and 3-5 hours, depending on how many and how long of stops you make.
- Start at North Junction and Ride to Cloudcap Overlook and return. Around 24 miles round-trip and 3-5 hours, depending on how many and how long of stops you make.
Medium/Difficult:
- Start at North Junction and ride to Park HQ – 25 miles. Around 3-5 hours including a ride out to Cloudcap Overlook, picnic lunch (not included), etc. Delivery at North Junction, Collection at Park HQ.
- Challenging addition: If you still have 2 hours left in your 5-hour rental period, continue another 9 miles uphill after switching out for a fresh battery at Park HQ. Collection at North Junction. This will add another 2 hours with stops, and you will need to pay an additional $50 per tandem.
